Lisa S. DuBois is a licensed cosmetology teacher, author, and Career and Technical Education instructor in Pennsylvania and Delaware. With more than 25 years of beauty-industry experience—including experience as a salon owner—she brings professional expertise, academic knowledge and practical instruction into the classroom. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a master’s degree.
Lisa created Cosmetology Advance Intensives after recognizing that many students were graduating from beauty school without feeling fully prepared for their licensing examinations. Some were completing their programs while still lacking confidence in essential cosmetology principles and procedures.
Her teaching approach presents cosmetology as both a science and an art. Through structured instruction, practical application and focused state-board preparation, Lisa helps students strengthen their knowledge, sharpen their skills and approach their examinations with greater confidence.
